I had the idea of writing about this topic earlier today. After going to an evening Yin yoga class where the instructor more or less said the same thing I was thinking of (yet in a different way about a different thing), I figured it was more than just a coincidence and decided to share it with you all.
It’s a pretty simple concept but I think it is pretty powerful.
Whatever it is that you want to be in life, whether it is to be happy, healthy, wealthy…pretty much anything. Choose YES to being that.
Choose YES to being happy.
Choose YES to being healthy.
Choose YES to being wealthy.
Choose YES to being giving.
Choose YES to being loving.
Choose YES to being generous.
I could go on and on here but you get the idea.
Whatever it is, make a mental shift to just be that thing.
Unless you wrap your head around what it feels like that, you will never be that.
Like anything, visualizing the experience of being, will help you become. Imagine yourself in a situation being that thing. What are others around you like when you are being that?
How do they react? How does it make you feel? What can you now do because you are that thing?
The more you begin to really feel what it’s like, the more likely you will beging to truly be it.
Choose YES to being the best you you can be. It’s just that simple.
